Radiation safety in the use of portable moisture density gauges (PMDG)

The Course is designed for anyone using a portable moisture/density gauge. These gauges use an advanced micro-processor-based technology to provide highly-accurate measurements of density and moisture of soils, and asphalt, and incorporate one or more radioactive sources. Responsibility for operating these machines would include transporting, and storing.

  • 40 minute open-book assessment at conclusion of course
  • Certificate of completion provided (emailed to your address)
